Location and Accessibility:
Köçek Islet is situated between Kargı Island and Bodrum, near Aspat Bay, and is just a 20-minute boat ride from The Divers Club. This site offers a mix of shallow and deep areas, with varying depths depending on the side of the islet:

  • Land-facing side: Approximately 10 meters
  • Kargı side: Reaches 22 meters
  • Gökova side: Extends to 34 meters

The location is ideal for divers looking to explore both shallow and deep waters, with rich historical and marine life discoveries along the way.

Dive Features and Marine Life:
Diving at Köçek Islet offers both historical and ecological interest. Divers can explore ancient amphoras and a late archaic anchor that has become integrated into the rock formations, providing a glimpse into the area’s ancient maritime history.

Underwater, divers can encounter a variety of marine species, including: Groupers, Schools of Barracudas, Jackfish, Learfish, Dentex, Stingrays, Moray eels, Octopuses, Cuttlefish, Squids, Lionfish, Crabs, Lobsters and Tritons

The diverse marine ecosystem offers an exciting opportunity for underwater exploration.
