Program Overview

This experience provides an insight into the benefits and mechanics of rebreather diving, from longer bottom times to silent, bubble-free dives. Under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor, you’ll gain a hands-on introduction to rebreathers, tailored to your experience level and diving goals.

Important Note: This is not a certification program, but a guided experience designed to familiarize you with rebreather technology.

Student Prerequisites

To participate in the Rebreather Try Dive, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a certification of Explorer 30 Diver or equivalent (minimum).
  • Complete the registration process, including all mandatory paperwork and liability forms.

Depth Limitations During Training

To ensure your safety and comfort, the following depth limits are enforced:

  • Confined Water Session: Maximum depth of 5m (15ft).
  • Open Water Dives 1 and 2: Maximum depth of 12m (40ft).

These limits allow you to experience rebreather diving in a controlled environment, focusing on skill development and understanding the unique characteristics of rebreathers.

What You’ll Learn and Experience
