Course Structure

The RAID Explorer 30 course includes five dives: three core dives and two electives. These dives are designed to build on the knowledge and skills acquired in the RAID Open Water 20 course, providing a well-rounded and immersive diving experience.

Core Dives

1. Deep Dive (with a Trimix option): Learn the protocols for deeper dives and explore depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet).
2. Navigation Dive: Master underwater navigation techniques for safer and more independent dives.
3. Buoyancy Dive: Fine-tune your buoyancy control for improved efficiency, safety, and enjoyment.

Elective Dives

Choose two additional dives from a variety of specialty options, such as:

• Wreck Diving
• Night Diving
• Search and Recovery
• Marine Ecology
• Drift Diving

Elective dives allow you to customize your course based on your interests and local diving conditions.

How to Earn Your Certification

Achieving your RAID Explorer 30 Diver certification is a straightforward process:

1. Study the Course Materials: Complete the e-learning modules, including manuals and quizzes for each topic.
2. Pass the Final Exam: After completing all quizzes, take the final assessment to advance to the practical portion of the course.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the RAID Explorer 30 course, you must:

• Be at least 15 years old.
• Hold a RAID Open Water 20 certification (or equivalent).
• Complete required documentation, including:
  • A liability release form.
  • A safe diving practices agreement.
  • A dive medical questionnaire. (A physician-signed medical form is required if you have any medical concerns.)
